2017 State Seafood Awards
The Awards showcase the WA seafood industry, its value to the State economy, its professionalism and its commitment to supplying some of the finest seafood in the world to local, national and international markets. They also encourage industry participants and celebrate their many and varied achievements.

Gascoyne Food Council Festival
The Gascoyne is set to welcome back Western Australia’s top chefs in August for its much anticipated annual food festival. Events will be held across the region including Dirk Hartog Island, Exmouth, Mount Augustus and Carnarvon, showcasing amazing meat, seafood, fresh fruit and vegetables and indigenous ingredients.Visitors can take advantage of a range of opportunities to join in the festival from the 6th to the 19th August. Events include family-friendly alfresco dining with live entertainment at the BBQ on the Beach in Carnarvon, fine-dining at the Long Table Lunch at the stunning Bentwaters Plantation and the free food sampling at the Gascoyne Growers Markets.
Dowerin Field Days
Dowerin Events Management is the organisation responsible for running the iconic Dowerin GWN7 Machinery Field Days and several other wheatbelt events. As a not-for-profit organisation, all the income generated through the Field Days and other events goes directly into the local region. Through the fundraising efforts of over 300 volunteers for their nominated clubs and organisations, as well as significant donations offered through our funding Committee, Dowerin and the wider community benefit greatly from the events. The Dowerin Field Days itself is the largest and most widely recognised agricultural event in Western Australia. The Committee has built a strong reputation over its 50 year history, with the brand recognised throughout Australia and increasingly overseas, across rural, regional and metropolitan areas.
